Hi everyone!

Today we’re looking back on one of our favorite weddings of 2022: Alyssa and Joe’s gorgeous September wedding at The Rockleigh in New Jersey. From the vibrant color palette to the cascading flowers to the Indian-inspired traditions, their wedding was a stunner. Alyssa and Joe are high school sweethearts who have been together most of their lives. The love they felt for each other – and each other’s families – was evident from the start of our planning through their wedding day. It was as if they were all family already, and the wedding was a formality. It was a heartwarming journey for us to be a part of.

We love clients who put their full trust in us, and we felt that way with Alyssa and Joe. They were a dream to work with and we had the best time bringing their vision to life. They picked teal as one of their wedding colors, but it was Kisha who recommended using a peach accent color. This was one of those times where they put their faith in her and allowed Kisha to pick what was best for them. And it did not disappoint!

One of our favorite moments from this wedding was the tribute that was set up for Alyssa’s late father and Joe’s late grandmother. They wanted to honor their family members, so Alyssa’s father’s guitar and Joe’s grandmother’s sari were displayed during the reception as a reminder that they are always with them. And to top it off, their first dance as a married couple was actually a song that Alyssa‘s father had recorded using his guitar. I don’t think there was a dry eye in that room. It was such a special day, and we were honored to be a part of it.

As if this story couldn’t get more beautiful, the two recently announced that they are expecting their first child together this year! We love watching our couples go from engaged, to married, to parents, and we couldn’t be happier for the two of them. Congratulations, Alyssa and Joe, you deserve all the happiness that’s coming your way!
